Hi Maschine Heads - there is a new sample library on Loopmasters called Aquasonica and I noticed that it comes in 16 bit MPC format as well as WAV. I know that Maschine can support MPC, but I am not too sure what this means exactly as I have never owned an MPC. My question is: If you are a Maschine owner which format would you recomend? WAV or MPC?

Many thanks in advance for your considered advice.

MIK

you most likely get the wavs with the mpc format, mpc format will mean it just comes in a kit file as well usually, so you can open that kit as a group already in Maschine and save it to the library, ask them if it comes with wavs or snd files, i'm pretty sure it's wavs
Thanks Saintjoe - is says that the MPC pack is available seperately, so I took that to mean WAV's would not be included. I will send a note through to check. If it came back that they are seperate, which way would you go?

Many thanks

MIK
I'm almost positive the mpc format is just wave files that include mpc pgms too, only benefit is that they will already be in kits for you

I usually make my own kits so it's not an issue but I have stuff in mpc programs and it makes for quick loading
Thanks Saintjoe - that sounds about right - many thanks for your advice as always :)

Regards,

MIK
