Count In (Please Help)
Hey Everyone,
My name is Jay and I am new to the forums. Would like some help as I am new to Maschine as well. How do I add a count in to maschine software? I started on the iMaschine on the Ipad and this always gave me a count in. Please Help

I use Maschine MIkro and to get a count on I press shift+rec.

you have to use shift+rec on the controller, there is no count in on the actual software, it's a long standing request for sure

@keith - Thanks for the response. I know how to use the metrenome but i wanted a count in before it starts. Sucks they dont have that.
@saintjoe - I hear yea man, I have been spoiled by iMaschine for the Ipad. it gives you a 4 second count in.

you gotta remember that the regular maschine is meant to work with the controller where imaschine is touch screen. So they tried to copy the features from the controller in a good way in the iMaschine
so with regular maschine you just do it from the controller

In iMaschine for the Ipad, it comes in 4 seconds before and then has the metronome during the recording.
The Maschine software has a metronome count during the recording but it does not have a 4 second count in.
Wish it had that.

Yes, Maschine does have a 1 bar count in, I use it every single day.
As mentioned multiple times in this very thread already, on your controller, press shift+rec, you will get a count in, make sure you're running the latest version of the Maschine software and not an old version.
