Do your normalize your samples?
when sampling with Maschine, do you use normalize?
i've never really been a fan of normalize in the past, so it's not something I use...but I know some do, just wondering if you've noticed any adverse effects from it in regards to your samples.

Only use when needed. Depends on the quality of the sound source. If you normalize a sample from vinyl, all the hiss from the record will increase in level as well. But if you sample a clean signal, such as another synth, you shouldn't have this problem. Although if your input signal is hot enough you should need to normalize at all.
