mapping samples

when i finish slicing my samples , i then go to mapping page and hit apply . For some reason the samples don't spead across the pad like in the tutorials why is that. i am using maschine mikro 1.7

you can either hit apply, which spreads all the slices out on the same pad, or apply to, and choose an empty group to put each slice on it's own pad
