It seems like MPC Studio is actually the device that can be compared to Maschine rather than the Renaissence Model. A closer look at the GUI of the software on the other hand gives the impression that it won't be as flexible in terms of routing as Maschine is, which is crucial in terms of DAW integration as well as creative freedom.
That being said, it still looks nice. But I wonder how it works and if AKAI manages to implement some sort of Drag & Drop for MIDI and Audio tracks, which is just a killer feature. Especially when using it in MIDI Mode inside Presonus One. It's got this awesome feature of exploding individual MIDI Notes to separate tracks, which is just mind blowing!
