I use the Mbox by AVID and want to sample from my web browser.  How can I do that with Maschine?

Heres a video explaining how to do it with soundflower(free) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3m8W75C9zw on a mac, however since you're on a pc substitute "jack"(jackaudio.org) for soundflower. I hope this helps. You shouldn't even have to use your m-box to sample from the pc. I'm sure saintjoe or rudyrhythmz has some other info as well
Are you on Mac or PC? On mac there are a few options, on PC not so much, it pretty much depends on the drivers of your interface. Does it support recording streaming audio, loopback recording, etc?

My audio interface supports this option but not all do. So it's more to do with your audio routing and less to do with Maschine.
I am on PC. My Interface is very new to me. It is the 3rd generation of the AVID Mbox.
you need to figure out the features of your interface, it may not support it. You may have to run a cable from the computer output to the interface input and sample that way. Or from one set of outputs on your interface into the inputs on your interface.
I will stick to using my traditional method of using sony's S Forge to record. It is a lot easier. I can then just use the wavs in Maschine. Thanks...
sounds good lol, can you record from your PC into S Forge? If so, you should be able to do the same in Maschine, it's based on your audio settings no Maschine or any other software.
thanks for posting the video Alpha. i checked it out and i followed all the steps but can't hear anything after i switch the output in my system preferences to 16ch . i see the sample meter moving and i can record the youtube videos but in order to hear it i have to switch my output back to my box. Can someone please help?
enable the speaker icon in the software on the sampling screen by the meters.
man bro thanks for the quick reply. i have to try that when i get home. this is a game changer...SERIOUSLY. Im sampling everything i can find on youtube. Maschine is officially the MPC KILLER. anybody know about a new upgrade coming soon?

you need to check the specs of the onyx, I don't know if it supports virtual audio streams, you may have to physically route between inputs/outputs.
